1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PawTrak website at pawtrak.co.uk and our QR pet tag services ("Services"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

PawTrak is a trading name of LostLink Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15989968. Registered office: 36 Willington Road, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN25 2HB. If you have questions, contact us at info@pawtrak.co.uk.

2. Our Services

PawTrak provides:

  • QR-coded pet collars and tags
  • Digital pet profiles accessible via QR code scanning
  • Free Basic: a live QR profile, finder contact form and owner email alert, finder location sharing, vet and medical/allergy details you choose to share, vet finder, lost mode banner and 1 photo
  • Premium: instant scan alerts with shared scanner location, scan history and map, lost poster generator and sharing tools, up to 5 photos, and flea and worming reminders by email and notification. Reminders are an aid only and are not veterinary advice; check the product or ask your vet how often to give a treatment.
  • Coming soon to Premium: two-way private messaging. This is not available today.
  • Pet management dashboard

3. Subscription Terms

3.1 Pricing

  • First Premium pet: £3.99/month or £39.90/year (2 months free)
  • Extra Premium pets: £1.99/month or £19.90/year per pet. Premium customers get 25% off collars; postage is not discounted.
  • Basic: Free for as long as PawTrak operates.

3.2 Rolling Subscription

Premium is a rolling monthly or annual subscription. Cancel any time. No minimum term.

3.3 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, according to your chosen interval. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to provide accurate payment information and keep it up to date.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel any time through your dashboard or by contacting us. Premium access continues to the end of the paid period. No refunds for part periods unless required by law. Your pet’s QR profile stays live on free Basic. Premium stays available during payment retries; if canceled after failed payments, the pet drops to Basic.

4. Orders and Delivery

4.1 Ordering

Lightweight collars cost £19.99 and Heavy-Duty collars £24.99, plus £2.99 UK postage & packing once per order. Free PawTrak profile with every collar. When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We will confirm acceptance by email. We reserve the right to refuse any order.

4.2 Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed; contact info@pawtrak.co.uk for current dispatch information.

4.3 Risk and Ownership

Products become your responsibility once delivered. Ownership passes to you upon full payment.

5. Returns and Refunds

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a collar order after delivery. Return the collar unused. Tell us within those 14 days, then return it within 14 days of cancellation. We refund the collar price and standard outbound delivery charge; we may make a deduction for diminished value from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the collar. Your statutory rights are not affected.

To request a return, contact us at info@pawtrak.co.uk. Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

Faulty Items: If your collar or tag is defective, please contact us within 30 days for a replacement or refund.

6. Your Account and Prize Codes

Valid prize codes give a collar at no charge, free postage and 3 months Premium for one pet, with no card and no automatic charge. Afterwards the pet remains on free Basic unless you choose to purchase Premium.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
  • Use automated systems to access the Services without permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the PawTrak website, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by PawTrak or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee that the Services will help find a lost pet
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Service Availability

Free Basic is available for as long as PawTrak operates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If the service ends, we will give at least 60 days’ notice and provide a data export.

11. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the website. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
